Role Overview :

As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will serve as the technical backbone for our clients' mission-critical SAP landscapes. You will be responsible for the end-to-end administration, performance tuning, and stability of complex SAP environments, ensuring seamless operations across ECC and HANA platforms. Working closely with cross-functional technical teams and client stakeholders, you will drive system availability and security, directly impacting the efficiency of business processes and the reliability of enterprise-wide digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA systems to ensure optimal system uptime and performance.

- Execute complex system upgrades and migration projects, minimizing business disruption while ensuring data integrity.

- Monitor system health, analyze performance bottlenecks, and implement proactive tuning measures to support high-volume transaction environments.

- Configure and manage SAP transport management systems to facilitate smooth code and configuration deployments across development, quality, and production landscapes.

- Collaborate with database administrators and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot connectivity, security, and integration issues within the SAP ecosystem.

- Implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical business data against system failures.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in managing SAP Basis, SAP HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP NetWeaver environments within large-scale enterprise setups.

- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in high-pressure production environments.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to provide status updates, technical guidance, and project documentation.

- Adapt to diverse project requirements and work effectively in remote or distributed team models across multiple locations in India.

- Possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, complemented by 5-9 years of hands-on experience in SAP administration.

- Show a proactive approach to learning new SAP technologies and cloud-based infrastructure integrations to stay ahead of industry standards.
