Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned Java Full Stack Architect (10+ years) to join our fintech and banking engineering team in Pune. In this critical role, you will define architectural strategy, design resilient microservices, and lead the technical implementation of our end-to-end payment dispute and chargeback resolution platforms.

Responsibilities :

- Architecture & Design : Design and evaluate secure, scalable, and high-transaction-volume distributed software solutions aligned with business requirements.

- Domain Leadership : Translate payment dispute rules, representment lifecycles, and chargeback reason codes into robust technical system specifications and architectures.

- Full Stack Development : Oversee and hands-on build scalable Java-based microservices (Spring Boot) and rich, responsive user interfaces (Angular).

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with global product managers, QA, and operations to ensure seamless software delivery.

- Mentorship : Mentor and guide senior development teams across Pune to promote technical excellence and clean, idiomatic code.

- Performance & Security : Ensure high availability, zero downtime, and strict data security in high-risk financial systems.

Qualifications :

- 10+ years in product engineering, with at least 3+ years in a dedicated Architecture/Technical Lead role.

- Advanced proficiency in Core Java, Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.

- Proficiency with modern web frameworks like Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

- Strong data modeling and SQL/NoSQL database management experience.

- Working knowledge of cloud-native architectures (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.

Good To Have :

- Prior experience in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) or Fintech domains.

- Experience with Event-Driven Architectures (EDA) using Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Understanding of the payments ecosystem, specifically Payment Dispute processing (issuer/acquirer workflows) and chargeback/representment lifecycles.
