Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS Platform

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to architect, automate, deploy, and operate enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and CloudFormation), GitOps, CI/CD automation, platform engineering, monitoring, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Architect and manage production-grade Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) clusters.

- Build enterprise CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

- Develop reusable Terraform modules and standardized cloud infrastructure.

- Manage AWS multi-account and multi-environment architectures.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows.

- Implement GitOps deployment strategies using Argo CD.

- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Configure Helm Charts for Kubernetes application deployment.

- Implement rolling, blue-green, and canary deployment strategies.

- Configure Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA) and Cluster Autoscaler.

- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions.

- Optimize AWS infrastructure performance, availability, reliability, and cost.

- Manage cloud networking, IAM policies, security groups, VPCs, load balancers, and routing.

- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.

- Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash.

- Troubleshoot production incidents across infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms.

- Work closely with developers to improve application deployment and operational excellence.

- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and establish DevOps best practices.

- Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.

Experience Required:

- 10 to 15 years of IT experience with at least 7 years in DevOps or Platform Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

- Extensive experience managing production Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) environments.

- Advanced knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation.

- Strong experience implementing GitOps using Argo CD.

- Experience designing enterprise CI/CD pipelines.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration.

- Strong scripting experience using Python and Bash.

- Experience supporting enterprise production environments with high availability and disaster recovery.

- Experience troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes issues.
