About the role :

As a Platform Engineer you will play a key role in architecting and implementing centralized builds and environment provisioning through standardized infrastructure blueprints across Enterprise Solutions. You will partner with a global team of engineers to design and build cloud based solutions on AWS, leveraging Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Ansible to help solve complex business challenges and achieve a strong security posture across a large estate. This is a hands-on consulting role that combines deep technical ownership of cloud infrastructure with the opportunity to help drive multi-cloud platforms and tooling as standard solutions for a large business segment.

Responsibilities :

- Partner with a global team of engineers to help design and build cloud-based solutions to solve complex business issues.

- Building automation to help solve technical challenges to achieve a strong security posture across a large estate.

- Leverage infrastructure as code to deploy AWS resources and components to meet ever changing business needs.

- This will require partnership with business and product resources to understand the requirements and help define and build solutions.

- Helping design and drive multi-cloud platforms and tooling as standard solutions for a large business segment to identify best cloud opportunities for products and teams.

Experience Required :

We are looking for a Platform engineer with 5+ years of experience working with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, DevSecOps etc.

Platform Engineering :

- Strong automation of configuration management

- Cloud-native architecture on AWS

- Terraform : wrote modules, managed state, not just ran existing code

- Strong understanding of Ansible : wrote playbooks, configured at scale (50+ servers)

- CI/CD : GitHub Actions

- Observability : Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, OpenTelemetry

- Cost optimization and performance analysis

AI/ML Integration :

- Deploying machine learning models into production using MLOps

- Automation of model retraining and monitoring (drift detection, alerting)

- AI-driven anomaly detection, performance prediction, and capacity forecasting

- Experience in AIOps practices

DevOps & Automation :

- Strong scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell : wrote automation, not just modified scripts

- Event-driven automation with tools like Airflow or Prefect

- Auto-scaling infrastructure based on AI-driven forecasting and Machine Learning

- Secrets and configuration management: Secrets Manager, Azure Vault, CyberArk

- Experience in working with and creating Ansible playbooks for automated configuration management at enterprise scale.

Security & Compliance :

- Deep understanding of cloud-native security best practices and implications

- DevSecOps: SonarQube, Trivy etc.

- Auditability and compliance support for ML pipelines

- Experience in integrating security practices throughout the SDLC lifecycle (ex: scanning and policy enforcement)
