Position

Software development engineer located in SII Bangalore with an operational management in SII Sud-Ouest (Toulouse, France).

Post objectives

The developer contributes to all activities linked to the creation of new applications or upgrades / ISS on existing applications within the service center ASDS (Airbus Software and Data Solutions).

Working with a delivery manager in SII Bangalore and an operational manager in SII Sud-Ouest, he reports on activities, technical progress and issues.

Job-related relationships

Main activities

The main task will be the development of applications enabling Airbus and SII system users to carry out their system engineering and aircraft validation activities.

As part of a structured team of 40 people, you will be involved in all or part of the following phases:

• Back-end and front-end web development
• Code and performance optimization
• Validation and continuous integration
• Corrective and evolutionary maintenance, user assistance if necessary
• Documentary capitalization and creation of skills enhancement catalogs

In the long term: you will be responsible for monitoring developments and technical supervision of the SII team:

• Participation in technical and functional training for new arrivals
• Production of functional and technical specifications
• Be a local player in SII India in the implementation of ASDS development processes on projects supported by SII India

These different phases will enable to participate in all software engineering activities.

Specific project for AIRBUS customer:

Development of a multi-site and multi-program application on AIRBUS, System Design team, used for Aircraft Control specifications edition.

• Experience working with, designing and implementing Xamarin. Forms apps for both Android and iOS. Training for .NET Maui will be provided
• A comprehensive understand of the Xamarin framework, including best practices, known limitations, and workarounds for common problems.
