RSM - Senior Associate 1- International Taxation

- Providing appropriate and timely performance feedback to those supervised.

- Develop, motivate, and train staff level and intern team members.

- Detailed review and analysis of Tax returns.

- Interact directly with clients handling questions, planning, concerns, etc.

- Performing, documenting, and summarizing research and conclusions regarding specific tax issues.

- Remain up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience working for a Big 4 or large national, regional, or local accounting firm.

- Strong technical knowledge of complex tax issues, particularly with US International clients and CFC attribution analysis and a working knowledge of international reporting and filings, including PFICs.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information and tax laws.

- Masters degree in accounting and/or finance.

- Strong experience with Global employer policies, tax equalizations, gross-up calculations, tax compensation review, foreign compensation reviews.

- Understanding assignment policies, additional foreign forms.

- Experience in the review of tax returns such as 5471, 8865, 8858, 8890, 8991, 8992, 1118, 1116, 5472, 7004, K-1s etc.

- Proficient use of technology, including Adobe Acrobat, CCH Access, Microsoft Office, BNA, etc.

- Enrolled Agent/CPA Certificate are Mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA or MCOM with Finance and/or Accounting as the Core subjects.

- Microsoft Skills.
