Job Title : WebMethods Architect / Senior Manager Enterprise Integration.

Location : Bangalore / Mumbai (Hybrid 10 days/month onsite).

Experience : 12 - 18 Years.

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days Preferred.

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced WebMethods Architect / Senior Manager to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the Software AG webMethods suite, strong architectural capabilities, and hands-on experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performing integration platforms aligned with business objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on architecture experience in enterprise integration environments.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Solution Architecture & Design :

- Define and design enterprise-scale integration architectures using the Software AG webMethods platform.

- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions supporting business transformation initiatives.

- Establish architecture standards, integration frameworks, and development best practices.

- Design integration solutions leveraging SOA, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and API-led connectivity principles.

2. Technical Leadership :

- Lead architecture discussions with business stakeholders, development teams, and enterprise architects.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to integration teams.

- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution assessments.

- Resolve complex integration challenges and drive technical excellence.

3. Project Delivery & Governance :

- Act as the primary technical lead for enterprise integration programs.

- Ensure successful delivery of integration initiatives within timelines and quality standards.

- Collaborate with project managers to plan resources, manage risks, and ensure successful execution.

- Establish and enforce integration governance frameworks, standards, and policies.

4. Platform Management & Innovation :

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the integration landscape.

- Evaluate emerging integration technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

- Support DevOps, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and enterprise architecture standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

Mandatory Skills :

- 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 8+ years of hands-on experience in Software AG webMethods.

- Strong expertise in the following webMethods components :

1. Integration Server (IS)

2. Universal Messaging (UM)

3. API Gateway

4. My WebMethods Server (MWS)

5. Trading Networks (TN)

6. Broker

7. Designer

8. Deployer

9. webMethods Integration Platform

- Extensive experience in :

1. REST and SOAP Web Services

2. API Management

3. Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)

4. B2B/EDI Integrations

5. Integration design patterns

6. SOA and Microservices architecture

- Hands-on experience with adapters such as :

1. JDBC Adapter

2. SAP Adapter

3. IBM MQ Adapter

- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and high-availability implementation experience.

- Good exposure to Core Java.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud integration platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

- Exposure to hybrid integration architectures (on-premise and cloud).

- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and JMS.

- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to Boomi or other iPaaS platforms.

- Experience in architecture governance, CoE initiatives, and integration strategy.

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
