Workday Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and support Workday technical solutions across HCM, Finance, Payroll, and other Workday modules.

- Build and maintain Workday Integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, and Web Services.

- Develop and customize Workday Reports, Calculated Fields, Dashboards, and Workday Prism (if applicable).

- Create and maintain inbound and outbound integrations with third-party applications.

- Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, and JSON-based integrations.

- Troubleshoot integration failures and resolve production support issues.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to gather business requirements and deliver technical solutions.

- Participate in system enhancements, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

- Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to Workday development best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience as a Workday Technical Consultant.

- Hands-on experience with :

1. Workday Studio

2. Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)

3. Core Connectors

4. Workday Web Services

5. Workday Report Writer

6. Calculated Fields

- Strong experience in Workday integrations using REST, SOAP, XML, XSLT, and JSON.

- Experience integrating Workday with HR, Payroll, Finance, and third-party enterprise systems.

- Good understanding of Workday security, business processes, and data migration.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, or Recruiting modules.

- Knowledge of Workday Prism Analytics and Extend is an advantage.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Workday certifications are a plus.
