Business System Analyst - US Healthcare Domain

Role : Business System Analyst US Healthcare.

Location : Gurugram and Bangalore (Work from the Office).

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Business System Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in the US Healthcare domain to bridge business requirements and technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Benefits, Membership, Claims, and Provider domains, along with strong analytical skills, API integration knowledge, and experience working in Agile environments.

This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and QA teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements while supporting enterprise healthcare transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.

- Collaborate with business users, Product Owners, developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and API requirements.

- Analyze and improve healthcare business processes related to Benefits, Membership, Claims, and Provider management.

- Evaluate APIs, system integrations, data flows, usage patterns, and lifecycle management.

- Support data-driven initiatives, analytics projects, and AI-enabled business solutions.

- Create and review test plans, test cases, test data, and validation scenarios to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Participate in release planning, production readiness, and deployment support activities.

- Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution discussions.

- Maintain complete requirement traceability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions while driving continuous process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of overall IT experience as a Business System Analyst or similar role.

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in the US Healthcare domain.

- Strong experience in Benefits, Membership, Claims, and Provider business processes.

- Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and system requirements.

- Hands-on experience with API analysis, system integrations, and enterprise applications.

- Strong understanding of requirement elicitation techniques, process modeling, and functional documentation.

- Experience creating User Stories, BRDs, FRDs, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with AI/ML-enabled business solutions.

- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability concepts (such as HL7, FHIR, or EDI) is an advantage.

- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, and SQL.

- Experience supporting enterprise healthcare transformation or digital modernization initiatives.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
