What You'll Do

As an AI Engineer at LevelShift, you will:

• Build intelligent pipelines utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) for reasoning, document generation, summarization, content extraction, and task automation.
• Design and develop autonomous AI workflows where AI agents interact with tools, APIs, memory, external systems, and other agents to solve complex business problems using Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and planning techniques.
• Analyze and modernize existing enterprise applications, rule-based systems, stored procedures, and legacy workflows into AI-native solutions capable of processing structured and unstructured data.
• Develop secure, scalable, and production-ready AI applications by integrating LLMs with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, databases, and business processes while following responsible AI and governance best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders to identify AI adoption opportunities, recommend innovative solutions, and continuously improve business processes through intelligent automation.

• Utilize Generative AI throughout the software development lifecycle to accelerate development, automate repetitive engineering tasks, improve documentation, and enhance productivity.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for prompt optimization, code generation, workflow automation, testing, reasoning, and intelligent knowledge retrieval.
• Work with modern AI technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, vector databases, and AI agent frameworks to build enterprise-grade AI solutions.

Your Skillset

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or Generative AI.
• Strong hands-on experience building applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, cloud platforms (preferably Azure), and integrating AI services with enterprise applications, databases, and business systems.
• Good understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, model evaluation, security, structured and unstructured data processing, and modern AI application architectures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a passion for learning emerging AI technologies, collaborating in Agile teams, and delivering scalable AI-driven business solutions.
