Ruby on Rails Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.

- Develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and business logic.

- Build and integrate frontend components with backend services.

- Design and optimize database schemas and write efficient SQL queries.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.

- Contribute to system architecture discussions and continuous process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.

- Expertise in backend development and RESTful API design.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.

- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is an advantage.

- Experience with Git and version control systems.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with Redis, Sidekiq, or background job processing.

- Familiarity with RSpec, automated testing, and performance optimization.

- Exposure to microservices architecture is a plus.
