Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Wiring

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, conduits, switchboards, lighting systems, and circuit breakers
• Set up electrical systems in new constructions, renovations, and lab setups

Maintenance & Inspections

• Conduct routine inspections to identify issues such as faulty wiring, overloads, or outdated components
• Test systems for voltage, continuity, and safety using standard electrical tools and diagnostic devices

Troubleshooting & Repairs

• Diagnose malfunctions including short circuits, tripped breakers, or outages
• Replace or repair damaged components such as fuses, relays, switches, and control panels

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards
• Implement grounding, insulation, and safety protocols as per regulations

Collaboration

• Work in coordination with engineers, architects, contractors, and infrastructure teams
• Mentor and supervise apprentices or junior electricians on assigned projects

Documentation

• Maintain accurate records/logs of repairs, inspections, and parts usage
• Provide reports to facilities management on maintenance cycles and incident resolutions
