Art Direction Lead

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop design concepts and solutions for a variety of projects including print collateral, digital campaigns, social media content, and branding materials
• Create compelling visual designs that are aligned with our brand identity, and that communicate our message effectively to our target audience
• Use a range of design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to produce high-quality designs that are print-ready or suitable for digital platforms
• Work closely with the marketing team to create visual content that supports our marketing campaigns and that drives engagement and conversion rates
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met, and that the quality of work is consistently high
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, and proactively suggest new ideas that will enhance the visual appeal of our content
• Collaborate with other departments as needed, such as product development or customer service, to ensure that our brand messaging is consistent across all touchpoints

About you:

• Lead and oversee design projects from concept to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that align with brand guidelines and project objectives
• Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers, guiding their growth and enhancing their design skills
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing managers, product managers, and creative directors, to understand project requirements, target audience, and desired outcomes
• Develop innovative and visually appealing design concepts, layouts, and visual assets for various marketing materials, advertising campaigns, digital platforms, and print collateral
• Execute designs across multiple mediums, including but not limited to websites, social media, email marketing, presentations, brochures, and packaging
• Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all design projects, maintaining a deep understanding of the brand identity and guidelines
• Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to the team
• Collaborate with external vendors, such as printers and photographers, to ensure the successful execution of design projects
• Conduct design critiques, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest quality of work
• Maintain an organized and comprehensive digital asset library, ensuring easy access and retrieval of design files
