Metrology & Gauge Calibration Stewardship/: Oversee the plant 's metrology lab, overseeing routine calibration schedules and measurement systems analysis to confirm the correctness of inspection equipment. Required Skills/: Metrology, Gauges, and Dimension Layout Mastery/: Expert fluency reading engineering drawings with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD&T callouts and full operational command over precise measuring equipment. Statistical Quality & Core Tools Instincts/: Expertise in using quality core tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC engineering principles. Root Cause Isolation & Problem/-Solving Mechanics/: Proficiency in formal problem/-solving techniques to identify the source of mechanical, material, or process defects. Comprehensive knowledge of ISO/IATF regulations, process auditing techniques, and product tracing frameworks are all part of the auditing and compliance discipline.
