production Planning & Control Engineer

• Prepare and maintain accurate BOMs for AHU units based on approved drawings and specifications
• Update BOMs in the ERP system for any design changes or revisions
• Ensure correct mapping of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies
• Validate BOM accuracy with design and engineering teams
• Plan and schedule production activities based on order priority and delivery timelines
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as required
• Handle ERP entries related to BOM, production orders, and inventory
• Generate work orders, material requisitions, and job cards through ERP
• Track production status and material consumption in ERP
• Maintain data accuracy in ERP for planning and reporting purposes
• Coordinate with procurement for material requirement planning (MRP)
• Ensure availability of materials as per production schedule
• Work closely with stores for inventory control and stock availability
• Highlight material shortages and delays proactively
• Coordinate with design team for drawings and technical clarifications
• Interact with purchase and vendor teams for timely material procurement
• Work with production team to ensure execution as per plan
• Support quality team for inspection and compliance requirements
• Track production vs plan variance and suggest improvements
• Prepare reports on order status, production efficiency, and delays
• Analyze bottlenecks and implement process improvements
