Technical Lead - Power BI

Technical Leadership:

- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Fabric-based data platforms. Knowledge of using AI tools mandatory.

- Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, visualization, AI Integration and governance.

- Provide technical leadership to BI/data teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

- Participate in solutioning, estimations, and technical roadmaps.

Data Engineering & Fabric:

- Design and build scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Data Engineering, Lakehouse).

- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions.

- Work with Delta Lake, Warehouse, and Real-Time Analytics components within Fabric.

- Optimize data processing performance and cost efficiency.

Power BI Development:

- Develop enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports.

- Design semantic models, DAX calculations, and performance tuning strategies.

- Implement row-level security (RLS) and governance best practices.

- Enable self-service BI and data democratization.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs.

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Drive workshops, solution discussions, and architecture reviews.

Team Management:

- Mentor and guide developers, analysts, and junior engineers.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards.

- Manage delivery timelines and ensure project success.
