Job Title: Branch Manager – Building Hardware Retail
Location: Suva, Fiji
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
  
• Lead, supervise, and motivate branch staff to achieve sales and business targets.
  
• Oversee inventory, stock control, procurement, and warehouse coordination.
  
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer issues effectively.
  
• Monitor sales performance, cash handling, financial reporting, and branch profitability.
  
• Prepare sales and operational reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
  

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
  

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Branch Manager, Retail Manager, or Operations Manager.
  
• Experience in Building Hardware, Construction Materials, FMCG, or Retail Industry is highly preferred.
  

Skills Required

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
  
• Excellent communication in English.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/POS systems.
  
• Inventory and stock management knowledge.
  
• Financial reporting and budgeting skills.
  
• Customer relationship management.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet business targets.
  
• Valid driver's license preferred.
  
• Police Clearance Certificate.
  
• Must pass a Drug Test.
  
• Non-smoker preferred.
  

Preferred Candidate

• Experience managing a building materials or hardware retail outlet.
  
• Proven ability to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
  
• Willing to relocate to Fiji.
