We are seeking a Technical Lead, Business & Data Intelligence to lead Business Intelligence and Data Analytics initiatives across our global organization. In this role, you will transform data into actionable insights, build scalable data solutions, and serve as the Global Power BI Administrator. Working closely with business and technology teams, you will leverage tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Purview to drive data governance, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

BI Leadership

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of BI solutions and data analytics projects across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards
• Develop and maintain the organization's BI roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders and technology teams
• Establish best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for BI development and data management
• Provide technical mentorship to team members and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team

Technical Administration & Infrastructure

• Serve as the Global Administrator for Power BI, managing enterprise-wide deployment, security, and access controls
• Oversee Power BI license management, workspace organization, and permission structures 1
• Monitor and optimize Power BI performance, implementing best practices for report development and distribution
• Design and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies for BI infrastructure

Data Architecture & Integration

• Design and implement robust data pipelines to integrate data from various sources including databases, applications, and external systems
• Develop and maintain ETL processes ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability
• Create and optimize data models that support efficient reporting and analysis
• Implement data governance practices to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance

Dashboard & Report Development

• Lead and support the development of interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
• Design and implement standardized reporting templates and visualization guidelines
• Ensure reports are optimized for performance and user experience
• Collaborate with business units to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Data Analysis & Business Partnership

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide appropriate BI solutions
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision-making
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through data analytic

Training & Support

• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on BI tools and dashboards
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI-related issues
• Create documentation for BI processes, data models, and reporting solutions
• Build capacity within the organization for self-service BI capabilities

Project Management

• Manage multiple BI projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies

Performance Management

• Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions and data pipelines
• Establish and track key performance indicators for BI initiatives
• Conduct regular audits of BI systems and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with emerging BI technologies and industry trends
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance BI capabilities
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for BI processes and solutions
• Drive innovation in data visualization and analytics approaches
• Implement self-service and ensure readiness of enterprise data for AI use cases

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master's preferred
• Minimum 8-10 years of BI/data analytics experience with 5+ years in Power BI
• Expertise in Power BI administration and development
• Proficiency in data transformation and visualization tools
• Proficiency in ETL and data integration
• Data modeling and governance expertise
• Programming and scripting skills (Python/R and SQL)
• Cloud data platform experience
• Knowledge of various databases and business data sources
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Industry certification or training in BI and data intelligence
• Experience in international organizations, preferably in the Agritech sector
