Business Development Executive (Bidder)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Online Bidder / BDE who has a strong technical understanding and proven experience in generating business through online portals. The ideal candidate should be able to understand project requirements, communicate effectively with clients, and prepare high-quality bids/proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and bid on relevant projects from platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, PPH, and other marketplaces.
• Understand client requirements (technical + functional) and prepare customised, professional proposals.
• Coordinate with the technical team to estimate project timelines, scope, and deliverables.
• Handle client communication, requirement gathering, and follow-ups.
• Convert leads into long-term clients and maintain relationships.
• Prepare project documentation, SOW, and cost breakdown when needed.
• Meet monthly bidding and lead conversion targets.
• Maintain CRM and track all leads/proposals.
  
  

Requirements

Technical Skills Required

• Strong understanding of Web Development, Mobile Apps, CRM Systems, APIs, SaaS, AI/ML basics, or related technologies.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into meaningful proposals.
• Good knowledge of project estimation, SDLC, and basic architecture.
• Comfortable explaining technical solutions to clients in simple language.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Online Bidder / BDE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and requirement-gathering skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results.
• Experience in handling international clients is a plus.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to create wireframes or basic workflow diagrams (optional).
• Experience with tools like Jira, Trello, Slack, HubSpot, CRM tools, etc.
• Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and AI tools is a bonus.
