Transport Manager

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport Manager to lead our transportation operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of optimizing transportation processes and ensuring efficient delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage transportation operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient transportation and logistics management.
• Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to optimize supply chain processes.
• Monitor transportation budgets and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5-9 years of experience in transport management or logistics.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
