Work as a brand/seller POC to ensure regular inventory replenishment and input metrics. Hand-hold multiple brands by supporting on inventory inbound. Work with Ops stakeholders to troubleshoot inbound issues. Primary contact for any brand escalation on catalogue/inventory/operations-related issues.
Key job responsibilities
Ops/Vendor Support: Assist vendors in navigating and utilizing Amazon systems tools and processes ensuring a seamless experience while improving their operational capabilities.
In-Stock Planning & Demand Forecasting: Own end-to-end in-stock planning for assigned categories; execute demand planning using Excel templates and Python-based automation to drive forecast accuracy reduce out-of-stock instances and optimize replenishment cycles across the network.
Python & Data Analytics: Leverage Python (pandas NumPy and related libraries) to automate demand planning workflows build inventory health dashboards analyze sell-through trends and generate actionable insights for replenishment decisions.
Training and Error Resolution: Provide training to vendors on catalog content PO management and shipment processes while identifying and correcting errors; maintain accurate records of tasks performed.
Process Improvement: Take ownership of process improvement initiatives identifying areas for operational efficiency through data-driven analysis and automation; actively participate in stakeholder meetings and calls.
Communication and Coordination: Maintain strong communication with both internal and external stakeholders; manage vendor relationships through face-to-face interactions and handle escalations or updates.
Multi-tasking and Problem-solving: Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks; address issues proactively and demonstrate a passion for operational excellence.
- Bachelors degree or Masters degree in supply chain management operations engineering analytics or related field
- Experience in in-stock planning demand forecasting or supply chain management within e-commerce/retail
- Proficiency in Python (pandas NumPy data manipulation and automation scripting)
- Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for demand planning templates and reporting
- Ability to analyze large datasets to derive inventory health metrics and replenishment signals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships
