Job Description:

Microchip Technology currently has an opening for an exciting career in the Analog IP Validation group. The candidate will be joining an experienced team of Analog Validation engineers that perform limit testing on the newest analog IP development. We work directly with our design team to ensure the designs exceed the needs of our customers. This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following activities:

. Leading Validation projects along with mentoring junior engineers.

. Collaborate internationally with groups such as Architecture, IP Design, Analog Library, FA, Product Engineering, and Test Engineering.

. Analog circuit PCB design

. Implement automated lab test bench setups using NI TestStand / LabView

. Create, maintain, and review test procedures and validation plans

. Collect, analyze, and post-process analog test data prepare test reports and related documentation

.Python code development

. Communicate weekly status updates to peers and leadership

Requirements/Qualifications:

. B.E/ B.Tech in Circuits branch.
. Three to five years of experience analog validation.
. Knowledge and experience with a variety of analog circuits.
. Designing and building test set up for analog IP validation.
Knowledge and experience with various lab equipment including: power supplies, source measure units, multimeters,
oscilloscopes and arbitrary waveform generators.
. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
. Experience with Python, NI LabVIEW and TestStand preferred.
