Job description

Position Title: Engineer / Specialist – Technical Writing

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support our production and assembly operations by developing clear, structured, and user-friendly technical documentation. The role is responsible for translating complex engineering and production information into easy-to-understand instructions for shop floor and assembly teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and maintain assembly instructions and production documentation.
Interpret complex technical data and convert it into clear, concise, and structured content.
Work with tools such as XML editors, CMS platforms, and PLM systems (Teamcenter, SAP) for documentation management.
Ensure all documents meet organizational standards, quality requirements, and version control processes.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality.
Take ownership of deliverables, ensuring timelines and accuracy are met.
Drive continuous improvement in documentation processes and usability.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial preferred).
2–5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation.
Experience in energy, manufacturing, or industrial equipment sector is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Hands-on experience with documentation tools (XML, CMS platforms, PLM – Teamcenter, SAP, MS Office).
Ability to understand and simplify technical drawings, processes, and specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables.
Effective collaboration skills in a global environment.
