Kapil Dixit LLP is looking for experienced Senior Associates to join its litigation team in Bengaluru. The role is suitable for advocates with strong litigation experience, excellent drafting and advocacy skills, and the ability to handle cases independently with minimal supervision.

The candidate should have practical experience in civil, criminal, family law, and other litigation matters. Kannada reading, writing, and speaking are mandatory.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle civil, criminal, family law, and other litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, petitions, written statements, applications, affidavits, legal notices, and other legal documents.
• Appear before Trial Courts, Family Courts, tribunals, quasi-judicial authorities, and other forums.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal inputs.
• Liaise with courts, government authorities, police departments, and other authorities in connection with case matters.
• Handle court work, client communication, and case proceedings independently.
• Assist in mentoring colleagues/ advocates and contributing to the professional development of the litigation team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience. No upper limit on experience.
• Kannada reading, writing, and speaking are mandatory.
• Experience in civil, criminal, and family law cases.
• Strong drafting, legal research, advocacy, negotiation, and case management skills.
• Strong professional ethics, judgment, and commitment to legal excellence.
• Ability to handle court work and client communication.
• Ability to independently handle cases with minimal supervision.
• Ability to mentor colleagues / advocates and contribute to the professional development of the litigation team.
• Mandatory court appearances before various courts and tribunals within Bangalore and outside Bangalore whenever required.
• Mandatory visits to police stations, government offices, and other authorities in connection with case work.
