Project Director

Job Description

The Project Director will be responsible for the overall leadership, planning, execution, and delivery of high-rise projects on behalf of the client. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for overall management, coordination ensuring compliance with the contract and liaison with senior management of client.
2. Lead the detailed design task team. Ensure all deliverables are prepared in accordance with quality and time constraints.
3. As the representative of consultant, communicate with Employer and report to JV member firms.
4. Review the previous and on-going related studies and data collected.
5. Identify appropriate design codes and standards in collaboration with the Design standards of Mumbai.
6. Review of detailed Design for Civil/ Architectural works.
7. Recommend the underground safety system including ventilation system, firefighting system and evacuation method.
8. Review of basic design for underground facility including air-conditioning systems and tunnel ventilation systems.
9. Draft the contract agreement for signing
10. Study and propose optimized solutions for O&M.
11. Develop planning & strategy for O&M.
12. Estimate O&M cost.
13. Review and approve the documents submitted by the contractors related to O&M.
14. Coordination between carious contractors and statutory agencies for O&M related activities.
15. Ensure implementation of strategy for O&M during DLP period.
16. Coordinate all elements of the construction activity.
17. Make suitable arrangement for monitoring the performance of the contractors and their sub-contractors.
18. Monitor the contractor's compliance with regard to the insurance, bond obligation as well as labour tax rules.
19. Coordinate with all the parties in assisting client in the preparation of public related information.
20. Review of Design and plan the traffic management plan during construction.
21. Assist client to organize traffic management.
22. Supervise the identification of founder ground utility facilities and buried materials (eg. Existing foundations).
23. Assist client for supervision of utility relocation until the completion of consulting services.

Qualifications

BE Civil Engineering
Overall 20 years experience
Minimum 5-10 years experience with High Rise projects
Strong with Hill Values, past experience of working with Hill International
