Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Role Overview :

As a QA and Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, performance, and reliability of our immigration platforms.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and system architects, to define testing standards and execute comprehensive quality strategies.

Your daily efforts will directly impact the user experience by identifying critical bottlenecks, ensuring seamless software deployments, and maintaining the high-availability standards required for our global operations. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development and deployment, ensuring that our software solutions remain robust in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software across all immigration platforms.

- Execute both manual and automated testing cycles to identify defects early in the development lifecycle, minimizing production risks.

- Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks to streamline regression testing and improve overall release velocity.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate testing protocols into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous quality monitoring.

- Conduct performance testing to evaluate system stability and responsiveness under high traffic loads, ensuring a seamless experience for international users.

- Manage defect tracking and resolution workflows using Jira, providing stakeholders with clear visibility into project health and quality metrics.

- Perform complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and ensure backend processes align with business requirements.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing end-to-end testing strategies within an Agile development environment.

- Proficiency in building and maintaining automation frameworks, with a strong grasp of modern testing tools and scripting languages.

- Ability to perform deep-dive data validation using complex SQL queries to ensure backend accuracy.

- Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into actionable test cases and performance benchmarks.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical quality issues to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

- Proven experience in managing CI/CD integration and performance testing to support high-scale software deployments.

- A minimum of 3 to 12 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a track record of taking ownership of testing lifecycles.

- Adaptability to work effectively in a distributed, global environment, maintaining high standards of productivity and collaboration across multiple time zones.
