About the Role:

KPIT Technologies is looking for an experienced Project Manager / Project Lead with 7 to 12 years of hands-on experience in managing software development projects within the automotive domain. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage software development teams for projects within the automotive domain.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, scope, and requirements.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and allocate resources effectively for successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Track project metrics (cost, defects, efforts) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Establish and manage project scope changes and acceptance procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality assurance processes are followed to deliver defect-free solutions.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads for additional projects.

Required Skills:

7 to 12 years of experience in project management within the automotive domain

Proven track record in project planning, execution, and resource management

Client-facing experience and ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders

Strong understanding of SDLC and software development processes

Expertise in scope management, metrics reporting, and quality control

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery of solutions
