DX & VRV Supervisor (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

 Supervise the operation and maintenance of DX split ACs, package units, cassette units, ductable units, and VRV/VRF systems.  Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.

 Diagnose and rectify faults related to compressors, evaporators, condensers, refrigerant circuits, expansion valves, inverter controls, and electronic components.

 Monitor refrigerant pressure, temperature, airflow, and overall system performance.

 Carry out refrigerant charging, leak detection, vacuuming, and recovery as per standard procedures.  Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and relocation of DX and VRV systems

.  Coordinate with OEM/service providers for major breakdowns and warranty-related issues.  Maintain maintenance records, service reports, equipment history, and checklists.

 Ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and consumables.

 Allocate daily work to technicians and monitor productivity and quality.  Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and permit-to-work procedures.

 Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal departments for maintenance planning.

 Ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently to minimize energy consumption.

 Attend emergency breakdowns and restore services within defined timelines.

 Train technicians on maintenance procedures, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
