POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President – Assistant Controller will lead and manage the strategic and operational aspects of
the capability center’s accounting organization, overseeing Corporate Accounting, Accounts
Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), QSF Accounting, and Financial Planning & Analysis
(FP&A). This individual will be a key business partner to global stakeholders, ensuring seamless
integration of financial and QSF accounting operations and contributing to the company’s growth through
accurate and timely financial information.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Strategy :
- Set the strategic vision and direction for finance operations at the capability center
- Develop, lead and scale high-performing teams and culture across Corporate Accounting, AR, AP,
FP&A and QSF Accounting
Develop and maintain accounting controls, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure operational excellence andcompliance
Mentor Senior Managers with the goal of elevating their ownership, driving controls, andmotivating their team
Corporate Accounting :
Manage full cycle accounting and reporting activities in collaboration with corporate HQDrive continuous improvement in accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting standards.Ensure regulatory compliance with IFRS / GAAP and local statutory requirements, including theIndia books and records
Accounts Payable & Receivable :
Oversee end-to-end AP / AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactionsImplement best practices in invoice processing, vendor management, collections, and cashapplication
Monitor and drive efficiency improvements across payables and receivables cyclesQSF Accounting :
Oversee accounting, payments, and tax operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing oftransactions.
Strategically review and modify workflows to streamline operationsDeliver accurate and timely QSF reconciliationsFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) :
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processesDeliver meaningful financial insights and dashboards for leadership to support strategic decision-making
Partner with business units to assess financial impact of initiatives and provide proactiverecommendations
Transformation, Risk Management and Compliance :
Drive digital transformation initiatives, including ERP optimization and automation of financeworkflows
Continually assess and maintain an effective control environment and enterprise risk managementprocess
Work with outside consultant to timely deliver and maintain the company’s compliance withgovernment laws and regulations
Identify opportunities to leverage AI / ML and analytics to streamline processes and enhanceaccuracy
Work interdepartmentally with Operations to streamline hand-offs and data flows with anemphasis on repeatability and accuracy
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
CA / CMA required15+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in global fintech orcapability centers
Proven track record of managing large-scale finance operations in a global capability center orcaptive unit model is a plus
Strong understanding of international accounting standards, financial controls, and reportingframeworks.
