About the Role :

Looking for a highly analytical Billing & Data Specialist (Senior) to manage billing data, financial reporting, automation, and business intelligence initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in billing systems, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Power BI, Python, Hive SQL, and Linux/Unix, with experience in finance operations and large-scale data management.

This role requires an individual who can transform complex billing and financial data into meaningful insights while driving automation, process optimization, and data quality improvements across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain enterprise billing systems and ensure billing accuracy and data integrity.

- Analyze large volumes of billing and financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and revenue-impacting issues.

- Develop and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.

- Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for finance and operational stakeholders.

- Develop automation solutions using Python to improve reporting, reconciliation, and operational efficiency.

- Work with Hive SQL to process and analyze large-scale datasets in distributed environments.

- Support billing reconciliation, revenue assurance, and financial reporting activities.

- Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance across multiple data sources.

- Monitor billing workflows and proactively resolve production issues.

- Collaborate with Finance, Business Operations, IT, and Data Engineering teams to enhance reporting capabilities.

- Optimize database performance and improve query efficiency.

Required Skills :

- 8 to 10 years of experience in billing systems, financial data analysis, or data management.

- Strong hands-on experience with :

1. Oracle SQL

2. PL/SQL

3. Power BI

4. Python

5. Hive SQL

6. Linux/Unix

- Experience working with enterprise billing systems.

- Strong understanding of finance and billing operations.

- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and revenue reporting.
