Job overview :

The Pre-Sales Networking engineer is responsible for consulting, analysis, design, and implementation support for Networking Projects, worked on RFP & RFI, and client facing experience is mandatory.

Primary Responsibilities and Activities :

- He/She should work with the sales team to identify business and technical requirements for networking opportunities of Routing, Switching, Wireless, and Security.

- He/She needs to have multiple OEM product knowledge like Cisco, HP, Juniper, Extreme, and Force10 etc.

- Should be able to provide solutions and make Bills of Material for multiple OEMs like Cisco, HP, Juniper, etc.

- Should have knowledge of developing networking designs based on the latest Cisco advanced technologies.

- Should prepare solution documents & presentations for customers.

- Should interface with Vendor technical experts.

- Should develop and maintain relationships with clients.

- Should perform network readiness assessments.

- Should provide knowledge transfer and detailed design/operational documentation to clients and internal teams.

- Sometimes he should be part of project implementation activity.

Preferred knowledge and skill set :

- WAN and LAN, QoS.

- Excellent client management/resolution, problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent oral, written & presentation communications skills.

- CCDA / CCNP / CCIE - or Higher Cisco Certification or any other CISCO certification would be an advantage.

Required Expertise on following Technology :

- Routing

- Switching

- Wireless

- Security

- Related NMS Softwares etc.

Required Academic Qualifications :

- Minimum Bachelor Degree from Engineering background.
