Job Title : Technical Architect Java AWS
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and real-time telemetry platforms.
This role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural thinking, and the ability to drive engineering excellence while working closely with product, business, and development teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for connected vehicle and automotive platforms.
- Lead end-to-end architecture for cloud-native applications using Java and AWS services.
- Define architecture patterns for microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven systems.
- Drive technical solutioning for telemetry ingestion, processing, and real-time analytics pipelines.
- Architect IoT-based communication systems using MQTT and other messaging protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalable design and high-quality implementation.
- Review application architecture, code quality, and technical design documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and fault tolerance across platforms.
- Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architecture and implementation plans.
- Drive cloud adoption, modernization, and best practices across engineering teams.
Key Result Areas (KRAs) :
- Deliver scalable and robust architecture solutions for connected vehicle platforms.
- Improve system performance, availability, and reliability for real-time applications.
- Enable seamless processing of large-scale telemetry and IoT data streams.
- Ensure adherence to architecture standards, security guidelines, and engineering best practices.
- Reduce system latency and optimize real-time data pipeline efficiency.
- Drive successful cloud-native solution deployments on AWS.
- Improve engineering productivity through reusable architecture frameworks and design standards.
- Mentor engineering teams and strengthen architectural capabilities across projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 8+ years of overall software development experience with a minimum of 2 years in an architect role.
- Strong experience in Connected Vehicle, Automotive, or IoT-driven product development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Strong experience in AWS cloud architecture and cloud-native application design.
- Expertise in MQTT, IoT platforms, and device communication protocols.
- Experience with telemetry systems and real-time data ingestion pipelines.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging/event streaming platforms.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience in designing secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Strong knowledge of system performance tuning and monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with automotive protocols and connected mobility platforms.
- Exposure to big data and real-time analytics technologies.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and cloud automation.
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices in connected systems.
Educational Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
