Role & responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead and train Lab Assistants and Analysts ensuring everyone follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintains high discipline.
Quality Standards: Strictly implement and maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to ensure high-quality standards.
Digital Documentation: Leverage ELN (Electronic Laboratory Notebooks) systems for day-to-day analysis to promote digital documentation and operational efficiency.
Workflow & Instrument Management: * Schedule the daily workload prioritize sample testing and ensure the NMR machine is used efficiently without "downtime".
Monitor the refilling of Liquid Nitrogen and Helium and coordinate with engineers for yearly maintenance or machine breakdowns.
Advanced Analysis: Perform complex structural analysis of unknown impurities metabolites and synthetic compounds using 1D ($^1textH$ $^13textC$ $^19textF$ $^31textP$) and 2D ($textCOSY$ $textHSQC$ $textHMBC$ $textNOESY$) NMR techniques.
Method Development: Develop and validate quantitative NMR methods for assay determination and purity assessment.
Regulatory Support: Review and interpret complex spectra to provide definitive proof of structure for Regulatory Affairs and DMF filings.
Data Integrity: * Ensure all electronic data is Attributable Legible Contemporaneous Original and Accurate.
Manage user access levels secure data archival and maintain comprehensive audit trails for every experiment performed.
Ensure timely handover of all day-to-day analysis reports and technical documents to support operational decision-making.
Operational & Safety Duties
Communication: Facilitate effective inter-departmental and intra-departmental communication to streamline lab workflows.
Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure excellent housekeeping standards by strictly following guidelines issued by the safety department.
General Management: Execute any other technical or operational responsibilities assigned by the management as per business requirements
