Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 810 years of experience to join our growing technology team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.

- Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

- Monitor application and infrastructure performance, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.

- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline software delivery.

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.

- Optimize cloud resource utilization and control infrastructure costs.

- Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and technical standards.

- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and drive DevOps best practices across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8 to 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Hands-on expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Datadog.

- Strong understanding of Linux administration and networking fundamentals.

- Knowledge of security best practices, IAM, SSL, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.

- Experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration.

- Knowledge of security automation and DevSecOps practices.

- Experience managing large-scale production environments.
