Key Responsibilities :
System Integration :
- Design, develop, and implement integration strategies for utility IT and OT applications.
- Lead end-to-end system integration activities across enterprise platforms.
- Ensure seamless interoperability between multiple utility applications and operational systems.
- Define integration architecture and data flow across applications.
- Support implementation of enterprise integration frameworks and middleware.
- Resolve integration issues and optimize system performance.
Utility IT & OT Systems :
- Ensure seamless communication between operational and business applications.
- Validate data synchronization and system functionality.
Smart Metering & AMI Integration :
- Support integration of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) with enterprise utility systems.
- Integrate smart meter data with MDMS, billing systems, and customer applications.
- Ensure reliable communication between field devices and central systems.
- Support deployment of smart grid technologies and digital utility initiatives.
- Troubleshoot communication and interface issues across AMI platforms.
Project Implementation :
- Lead IT/OT implementation activities under government utility projects such as :
1. DDUGJY
2. R-APDRP
3. IPDS
4. RDSS
5. Smart Grid Projects
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, OEMs, system integrators, and utility officials.
- Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and prepare implementation reports.
Data Integration & Migration :
- Design and execute data migration strategies between legacy and modern utility systems.
- Validate data integrity, consistency, and security during migration.
- Perform system interface testing and data reconciliation.
- Support master data management initiatives.
Technical Support :
- Provide technical expertise during solution design, deployment, and commissioning.
- Identify and resolve system integration issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for application failures.
- Recommend process improvements and technology enhancements.
- Provide post-implementation support and optimization.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management :
- Collaborate with utility companies, government agencies, consultants, OEMs, EPC contractors, and software vendors.
- Review technical documentation and vendor deliverables.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
- Participate in project review meetings and technical discussions.
Testing & Quality Assurance :
- Develop integration test plans and validation procedures.
- Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and interface testing.
- Verify application functionality after deployment.
- Ensure compliance with utility standards and project specifications.
- Support issue tracking and resolution during testing phases.
Documentation & Reporting :
- Prepare technical documentation, interface specifications, architecture diagrams, and integration manuals.
- Maintain project documentation and configuration records.
- Prepare project status reports and management presentations.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards and audit requirements.
