About You

You are a driven and analytical professional with strong business acumen and communication skills able to translate complex information into clear actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Professionalism in how you engage: Show good judgment and a professional attitude when engaging with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate emotional intelligence based on an ability to listen and learn.

You must exercise considerable discretion about information communicated and handle serious and sensitive subjects with tact excellent judgment and confidentiality. This role will contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their differences and are motivated to improve their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.

Key Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Communications Economics or a related field

Approximately 5 years of related experience working within a large organization with an emphasis on communications and/or business analysis

A track record of managing multiple stakeholders including senior leaders

Proven ability to translate complex data insights and concepts into clear actionable outputs for diverse audiences

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends risks and opportunities

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop presentations briefings and materials across formats

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multi-task and show the impact of their work

Languages - English (essential)

Preferred:

Experience across countries and cultures

Leader communications

Social Media skills

Issues management experience

Platform experience (Workshop Microsoft 365 Monday Riverside etc.)

As Communications Specialist for APAC you will play a key role in achieving our ambitionshapingand delivering innovative communications that inspire and engage an influential partner to senior leadership building the profilereputationand relationships necessary to positionWorleyin APAC markets where weoperate while enhancing Worleys reputation as an employer of choice.

The Role

The successful candidate will tailor and deliver a range of communicationsfor internal and external audiences across APAC including leadership and stakeholder communications employee communication and stakeholder and issues managementidentifyingopportunities to protect and promotethe APAC business and Worley as a whole.

  • Be thetrustedcommunicationsadvisor:Work closely with senior leaders within Global Operations to influence and promote key business decisions and shape the companys voice.
  • Elevateourbrand and buildreputation:Champion the unique voice of Worley ensuring we stand out in a competitive market and advance Worleys purpose of delivering a more sustainable world.
  • Implement strategiccommunicationinitiatives:Execute communications strategies that support businessobjectives ensuring alignment clarity and consistency in messaging across all channelsandtoall audiences (our people media and public government and trade/industry stakeholders).
  • Shapeleadershipvisibility:Elevate leadership communications from internal updates to external messaging ensuring executives have market presence and impact and team members are engaged.
  • Engage andinspire ourpeople:Build and implement communications that drive engagement strengthen culture and align with business priorities.

Bring Worley stories to life: Create and publish internal and external stories that showcase people projects and customers and support business priorities.

  • Manageissues and crises to protect Worley and its peopleEngage with crisis and security teams as well as leaders in a consistent way to prepare for and respond tounplannedevents.
  • Collaborate:Work collaboratively with your colleagues inCorporateAffairs (includingGovernmentRelationsMedia Internal Comms and other business partners)MarketingInvestor RelationsStrategy ChangePeople Legal the extended communications network andbusiness leaders to leverage internal and external opportunities and strengthen relationships across business units and regions.
