Major Activities / Tasks

Solution Design and Implementation

• Develop and maintain the architecture for OT systems across various platforms and locations.
• Analyse business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Design end-to-end solutions that optimize pharmaceutical operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality control, and regulatory compliance
• Ensure OT systems comply with industry standards, Cybersecurity best practices and infrastructure scalability

System Integration

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate OT and IT systems, facilitating data exchange and process optimization.
• Integrate existing and new systems, such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, SCADA & DCS.
• Optimize data flow, process automation, and real-time monitoring.

Technology Evaluation & Support

• Assess new OT technologies and tools to improve operational efficiency
• Stay informed about emerging technologies relevant to the pharmaceutical sector.
• Evaluate tools, frameworks, and cloud solutions for their applicability.
• Propose changes and enhancements to existing systems & support.
• Maintain upto date support contracts with OEM/Partners
• Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams regarding OT technologies.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for OT systems
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, GxP, EMA).
• Implement robust data security measures.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to validate system functionality.

Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate technical solutions effectively to stakeholders, including senior management, operations teams, and IT professionals.
• Provide guidance on system architecture, scalability, and performance.
