JOB PURPOSE
To develop & establish the HSE Management system and advise in the implementation of the system, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements to complete the projects safely and on time. The Aerodrome Compliance Audit Officer will be responsible for planning and conducting compliance audits of aerodrome infrastructure, facilities, and implementation of operational procedures to verify conformity with the requirements of the Aerodrome License, DGCA CARs, ICAO Annex 14, ICAO Doc 9137 (Airport Service Manual), and Doc 9157 (Aerodrome Design Manual). Post-audit, the role includes finalizing the report and following up until full compliance is achieved.
Additionally, this role will assist in the planning and execution of compliance audits of new infrastructure being introduced at the aerodrome, in accordance with DGCA CARs, in coordination with regulators and all internal and external stakeholders. Timely submission of reports, including CAR compliance checklists, is required before commissioning.

Annual Compliance Audit Program
- Prepare the annual compliance audit program for the entire aerodrome infrastructure, facilities, and operational procedures in coordination with each unit/functional area.
- Prepare a monthly tracker for the same.
Units to be Audited
The units to be audited include the following:
- Aprons (31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 2, 1)
- Taxiways between RWY 09/27 and RWY 10/28, RWY 10/28 and Link1, and other specified sections
- Runways 11R/29L, 11L/29R, 10/28, 09/27
- SMS, Aerodrome Data, AOM, Emergency Planning, and more
- Wildlife Hazard Management, Airside Operations procedures
- ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting), Airport Systems, VDGS
- Airside Drains, PRM DGCA compliance
Compliance Audits Execution
- Execute planned compliance audits as per DGCA CARs, in coordination with the regulator and all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure timely submission of CAR compliance checklists before commissioning.
Compliance Review Committee
- Assist in convening Compliance Review Committee meetings to present amendments, non-compliance issues, ATRs, and updates.
- Prepare meeting minutes (MOM) and follow up on audits to ensure effective closure of non-compliances.
Follow-up on DGCA Observations
- Ensure closure of observations made by DGCA during annual surveillance audits and regular checks.
- Coordinate with departments for the closure of action plans and submission of ATR.
Management Dashboard on Compliance Status
- Prepare and maintain management dashboards to track compliance status.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- 7 years' experience in Airport (Airside Planning/Operations)
- Knowledge of DGCA CARs, ICAO Annex 14, ICAO Docs (Aerodrome Design Manuals, Aerodrome Services Manual, PANS Aerodrome 9981, SMM 9859)
