About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development professional with strong experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, and new logo acquisition. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of acquiring and onboarding business partners, driving revenue growth, and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new business clients and strategic partners.
- Drive merchant acquisition and new logo acquisition initiatives across assigned territories.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through market mapping, networking, and outbound outreach.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account activation.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual acquisition and revenue targets.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 4-8 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, merchant acquisition, or enterprise sales.
- Experience in franchise development, merchant partnerships, or channel expansion will be preferred.
- Prior experience with companies such as Zomato, Swiggy, Nearbuy/Fitternity, or similar marketplace/platform businesses will be an added advantage.
- Strong hunting mindset with demonstrated success in acquiring new accounts and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel as required for business meetings and partner acquisition.
