ServiceNow Developer - ITIL Frameworks

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Developer to join our high-performing engineering team in Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, or Bangalore. In this role, you will serve as a technical architect and implementer, translating complex business requirements into scalable, automated workflows within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

We will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, IT leadership, and global clients to modernize service delivery processes. By designing robust solutions and optimizing platform performance, you will directly influence operational efficiency, reduce manual overhead, and enhance the end-user experience for our enterprise-level clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and configure ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and HRSD to align with specific organizational workflows and business objectives.

- Develop custom applications, service portals, and business rules using JavaScript, Glide API, and Angular to streamline internal processes and improve system usability.

- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party enterprise tools and legacy systems using REST/SOAP APIs to ensure seamless data flow and platform interoperability.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and performance testing to maintain high standards of platform stability, security, and scalability for global users.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance during the full software development lifecycle to foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow development, including advanced scripting, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules, backed by 5 - 12 years of professional experience.

- Strong proficiency in web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML, coupled with a deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and project managers.

- Proven ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, managing multiple project streams independently while maintaining alignment with global team goals.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by relevant ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
