Senior Remote Desktop Services Engineer - Windows Server

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Remote Desktop Services (RDS) Engineer to support and enhance enterprise remote access infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Microsoft RDS environments, Windows Server platforms, virtualization technologies, and core infrastructure services while ensuring high availability, security, and performance across business-critical systems.

This role requires strong technical expertise in Windows infrastructure, Active Directory administration, virtualization, and troubleshooting complex production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments.

- Configure and manage Remote Desktop Session Hosts, Connection Brokers, Gateways, and Licensing Servers.

- Manage Windows Server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance optimization.

- Administer Active Directory services, Group Policies, user provisioning, and access controls.

- Monitor and maintain DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.

- Support virtualization platforms and virtual desktop environments to ensure scalability and reliability.

- Perform system health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning activities.

- Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents, outages, and performance bottlenecks.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve service stability.

- Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to implement infrastructure improvements.

- Execute server patching, upgrades, and compliance-related activities.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and infrastructure diagrams.

- Participate in change management, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
