Job description
Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Leasing
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-potential retail and F&B brands (Indian & international) aligned with airport positioning
  • Drive commercial negotiations, business terms (MG/MMG/Rev Share), and closure of deals
  • Conceptualise and curate category mix strategies to maximise revenue and passenger engagement
  • Build and leverage a strong industry network across malls, brands, franchise operators, and aggregators
  • Project Management & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end execution of new outlets from concept to go-live, ensuring timelines and quality standards
  • Coordinate with design, projects, operations, and regulatory teams (including BCAS where applicable)
  • Monitor progress of fit-outs and ensure on-time store openings aligned with traffic milestones
  • Ensure readiness for key launches, including international operations ramp-up
  • Revenue & Performance Management
  • Drive sales performance across portfolio, with clear focus on revenue maximisation and yield enhancement
  • Track outlet performance through data insights and implement corrective interventions where required
  • Work closely with partners to drive promotional plans, merchandising improvements, and sales uplift initiatives
  • Stakeholder & Partner Management
  • Manage relationships with key retailers, F&B operators, and JV partners
  • Ensure strong alignment on business objectives, service standards, and passenger experience
  • Act as a single point of accountability for assigned zones/assets
  • Strategic Initiatives
  • Support development of new commercial concepts, innovations, and alternate revenue streams
  • Benchmark with leading airports and malls to bring best-in-class practices
  • Contribute to long-term commercial strategy and asset monetisation plans

Experience

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8–10 years of experience in:
    • Airport retail / Non-aero commercial
    • Shopping malls / retail leasing
    • F&B business development / hospitality formats
  • Proven track record of:
    • Closing high-value deals
    • Managing projects from concept to execution
    • Driving strong sales and revenue performance
