Job Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Drive the organization's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with the CEO and Board on business planning, growth initiatives, acquisitions, and capital allocation.
- Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and expansion plans.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop profitability improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure robust MIS and financial reporting systems.
Investor Relations
- Serve as the key interface with institutional investors, analysts, shareholders, and rating agencies.
- Lead quarterly earnings presentations and investor communications.
- Build and maintain market credibility and investor confidence.
- Support fundraising and capital market activities.
Accounting & Financial Control
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting under Ind AS / IFRS.
- Oversee accounting operations, consolidation, treasury, taxation, and compliance.
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to audit recommendations.
Treasury & Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and liquidity.
- Optimize capital structure and financing costs.
- Lead debt raising, refinancing, and treasury operations.
- Manage relationships with lenders, banks, and financial institutions.
Risk Management
- Establish enterprise risk management practices.
- Monitor financial, operational, compliance, and market risks.
- Implement mitigation plans and internal control mechanisms.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance organization.
- Drive succession planning and capability development within the finance function.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and performance excellence.
