Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineering Lead to spearhead our cloud-native data initiatives. In this role, you will architect and manage complex data pipelines, bridging the gap between raw data ingestion and actionable business intelligence.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams, data architects, and senior stakeholders to design scalable solutions that drive decision-making.
By leveraging your expertise in Snowflake and IICS, you will ensure the integrity, performance, and security of our data ecosystem, directly impacting our ability to deliver high-quality insights to our global client base. This position is based in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, or Chennai, offering a dynamic environment for a professional looking to make a tangible impact on enterprise-scale data strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement robust ETL/ELT workflows using IICS and Matillion to streamline data movement across hybrid cloud environments for internal business units.
- Develop high-performance data models and stored procedures within Snowflake, utilizing Snowpark to enable advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure cost-efficiency and high availability, directly supporting the reliability of mission-critical reporting tools.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards of data quality and engineering excellence across the development lifecycle.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that data solutions align with long-term organizational Skillset :
- Demonstrated mastery in architecting end-to-end data pipelines using Snowflake, Snowpark, and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to solve complex integration challenges.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale data transformations using Matillion and AWS services, ensuring seamless data flow and storage optimization.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead collaborative discussions in a hybrid work environment.
- Exceptional analytical mindset with a focus on troubleshooting performance bottlenecks and implementing scalable, future-proof data architectures.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 7 to 12 years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
- High degree of adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed team structure across our Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, or Chennai offices.
