Role Overview

We are looking for anInfrastructure Engineerto join ourAzurefirstGlobal Capability Center (GCC). This roleis responsible foroperatingoptimizing and modernizingenterprise and cloud infrastructure with a strong focus onMicrosoft Azure and hybrid environmentssupporting global business platforms.

The engineer will work closely with global IT cloud security and application teams to ensureavailability scalability security and operational excellenceacross production environments.

Responsibilities

Azure & Hybrid Infrastructure Operations

• Operate and supportAzure infrastructure servicesincluding VMs Storage Networking and identity services

• Managehybrid infrastructureintegratingonpremsystems with Azure cloud

• Ensurehigh availability performance backup and disaster recoveryforbusinesscriticalworkloads

• ProvideL3/L2 infrastructure support including incident problem and change management

• Participate inoncallrotationssupporting global 24x7 environments

Cloud Platform & Modernization

• Support andmaintainAzure subscriptions resource groups networking and access control

• Execute and supportcloud migration and infrastructure modernizationinitiatives

• Monitor infrastructure health usingAzure Monitor Log Analytics and alerting tools

• Drivecapacity planning cost optimization and performance tuning

Automation & Infrastructure as Code

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations usingTerraform ARM templates or Bicep

• Develop scripts usingPowerShell Bash or Python

• Improve operational efficiency throughstandardization and self-service tooling

Security Compliance & Governance

• Implementpatching hardening backup and DRbest practices

• Supportsecurity controls audits and compliance requirements

• Follow enterprisechange risk and release managementprocesses

Collaboration & GCC Ownership

• Work closely withglobal cloud network security and application teams

• Create andmaintainSOPs runbooks and infrastructure documentation

• Act as anAzure infrastructure SMEwithin the GCC

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Infrastructure Skills

• Strong experience inInfrastructure / Systems / Cloud Engineeringroles

• Handsonexpertisewith:

• Windows & Linux servers

• Virtualization(VMware /HyperV)

• Storage Backup and DR solutions

• Networking fundamentals(DNS Load Balancers Firewalls TCP/IP)

Azure & Tooling

• Stronghandsonexperience withMicrosoft Azure including:

• Azure VMsVNets NSGs Load Balancers Azure Storage

• Azure Monitor Log Analytics

• Azure AD / Entra ID basics

• Experience withInfrastructure as Code(Terraform ARM Bicep)

• Familiarity withITSM tools monitoring and alerting platforms

Professional Skills

• Strong troubleshooting androot cause analysisskills

• Ability tooperateinglobalfollowthesundelivery models

• Clear communication and documentation skills

Good to Have

• Experience working in aGlobal Capability Center (GCC)

• Exposure toAzure Landing Zones enterprise-scale Azure setups

• Knowledge ofDevOps / automation-first infrastructure practices

• Azure certifications (AZ104 AZ305 etc.)

• Experience supportinglarge-scale enterprise platforms
