Production Manager

Purpose of the function The Plant Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of all the sites infrastructure
Gantrex India : Production Warehouses and Buildings. Working with site management
their responsibilities cover technical organizational and strategic aspects. They
supervise a team of 8-9workers and 1-2 foreman. They provide active technical
expertise in selecting suppliers of raw materials equipment and maintenance services
while adhering to product line specifications and operating budgets. As an expert they
participate in defining and validating materials and products. For one-third of their time
they also serve as the Prevention Advisor at the Gantrex India site. Areas of responsibility Tasks

Ship - Working with the foreman supervise the operation of a team of 8-9 workers to cover
the departments production and shipping flows as well as the operational
management of the equipment.
- Definition of methods and processes
- Physical inventory management
- Business Process Owner ERP for production and logistics Organize - Function definitions and selection
- Resource and activity planning
- Intra- and inter-departmental operational meeting
- Definition of operating budgets and reporting Support - Provide support to the service in cross-functional processes with the Purchasing
Sales and Finance departments.
- Team management and reporting
- In collaboration with the Technical department provide upstream and downstream
technical support and monitoring for certain products.
- Implementation of the companys quality policy and reporting Maintain / Envolve - Define the technical specifications for the raw materials used in production and ensure their conformity.
- Manage and upgrade fixed production equipment stores buildings
- Manage and develop production processes stores and buildings
- Selecting suppliers and service providers in collaboration with the Purchasing
department as part of the services operation.
- Analyze technical organizational and quality failures
- To ensure in collaboration with the foreman the corrective and preventive
maintenance of production equipment warehouse and building
- Define the specifications and select the new equipment
- Definition of the maintenance/investment budget and reporting Advise - To ensure in collaboration with the Human Resources department the
implementation of the missions of the internal prevention service (SIPP) as defined
by law.
- Participate in the prevention policy of the Gantrex India site - Ensure the implementation of the prevention policy within the operations department
