Demoulding Supervisor

Summary:
This supervisor is responsible for ensuring that each concrete element is safely and accurately released from its mold at the optimal time based on verified early-age strength data. The role demands constant vigilance physical presence on the yard floor and authoritative oversight of crane operations form release procedures and immediate mold cleanup to maintain production throughput and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and verify early-age concrete strength data to determine optimal demoulding timing
  
• Oversee the safe mechanical release of forms using proper stripping techniques and equipment
  
• Direct and supervise heavy vertical crane operations during element extraction
  
• Conduct real-time inspection of elements for surface defects cracks or structural anomalies post-demoulding
  
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols PPE standards and site-specific risk mitigation measures
  
• Coordinate immediate mold turnaround activities including cleaning inspection and reconditioning
  
• Lead and mentor demoulding crew members on best practices safety and quality standards
  
• Maintain accurate logs of demoulding events defects and corrective actions
  
• Collaborate with production quality control and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in precast concrete production with a focus on demoulding and stripping operations
  
• Proven track record in supervising high-volume casting yard operations in a demanding industrial environment
  
• In-depth knowledge of concrete curing behavior early-age strength testing and structural integrity principles
  
• Certified crane operator or demonstrable experience in managing crane-based extraction activities
  
• Strong understanding of safety regulations OSHA standards and site-specific risk controls
  

Required Skills:

Experience: 510 years of consistent hands-on field experience tracking and executing formwork stripping or component handling within high-capacity precast yards structural concrete manufacturing facilities or heavy infrastructure corridors.

Required Education:

Education: Technical Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a Senior Vocational ITI Certification in Construction Craft/Formwork Technology.
