Position : Assistant Production Manager *
Qualification : Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology Food Processing Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Location : Cochin
Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in the Frozen Food Industry
Salary : 35000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations : Supervise and monitor daily production activities to ensure uninterrupted operations. Ensure production schedules and output targets are achieved as per plan.
Manpower Management : Allocate manpower based on production requirements. Monitor attendance shift deployment and discipline of shop-floor employees.
Quality & Food Safety : Ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety requirements. Monitor adherence to GMP HACCP hygiene and sanitation practices. Coordinate with the Quality team to address product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Productivity & Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for improving productivity and reducing wastage. Monitor production efficiency yield and material utilization.
Coordination & Reporting : Coordinate with Maintenance Quality Assurance Stores and Planning departments to ensure smooth plant operations. Prepare and maintain production reports and shift records..
Safety & Compliance : Ensure adherence to safety procedures and statutory requirements.
Promote a safe and hygienic work environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and food industry regulations.
