Social and Gender Expert-Odisha- Fixed Term

This role will be part of Hiring for setting up a PMU for CITIIS 2.0 under Housing & Urban Development Department Government of Odisha.

The requirements are as below:
Bachelor degree in Gender Studies Sociology Social Work Development Studies Public Policy Urban Planning or related disciplines from a recognized institution
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in gender mainstreaming social inclusion and community development preferably in the urban development or climate resilience sectors.
Experience in working with government programmes multilateral projects or development agencies focused on gender equality social justice or climate action.
Proven experience in developing gender action plans gender audits or GESI frameworks in urban or environmental projects project.
Strong understanding of national and state-level gender policies urban missions (e.g. Smart Cities CITIIS etc.)

Duration: 2 year contract with an additional 1-year extension possible.

Location: Anyone from the following six cities in Odisha - Bhubaneshwar Cuttack Berhampur Rourkela Sambalpur Puri
