Founder's Office: Strategy & Operations

There is no playbook for this role. That's not a warning – it's the pitch.

You'll work directly with the founding team on the company's highest-priority problems. Some weeks that's crunching numbers with the finance team. For others it's building a dashboard from scratch, fixing a broken HR process, or digging into a GTM metric that doesn't add up. You won't know in advance. That's the job.

Refold is building the AI integration delivery layer for modern software companies – AI agents that compress enterprise integration timelines from months to days. We've crossed 1,000 deployments across 12 companies, raised a $6.5M seed from Eniac Ventures (early investors in Airbnb and Uber), and are building fast. The work is real. The stakes are real. And the person in this role will touch all of it.

What You'll Own

This changes week to week. But here's what it looks like in practice:

• Build and maintain dashboards, metrics, and operating cadences that give the company real-time visibility across functions
• Lead cross-functional projects spanning HR, finance, GTM, and operations owning them end to end
• Drive process improvements and automation to reduce drag and manual work across every function, streamline every
• Use AI tools to improve how work gets done, you're expected to tinker, automate, and find faster paths
• Design, write, and maintain a centralised repository of clear, scalable SOPs to ensure continuity, reduce onboarding friction, and establish institutional knowledge.
• Track performance metrics, surface what's breaking, and recommend what to do about it

Who Should Apply

You might be a fit if:

• You have 1 to 2 years in early-stage startups, operations, or strategy – and you've been executing, not just analysing.
• You've owned something from 0 to 1 and shipped it without being asked twice
• You think in systems but can zoom into a single broken thing and fix it without losing the thread
• You write clearly under pressure and multi-task on things & comfortable with context switching
• You are someone who enjoys operating at a very high velocity
• You're comfortable with the question 'What do you think we should do' and have a structured, defensible answer
• Ambiguity doesn't slow you down. It speeds you up.

Bonus points if you've founded something, been early at a startup, or have hands-on experience with AI tools in an operational context.
